Car full of teens arrested
Kent police arrested a car full of teens from the Massillon and Canton area shortly after 3 a.m. March 5 near the intersection of Haymaker Parkway and South DePeyster Street.
Police pulled over Charles R. Isles, III, 19, of Massillon, for a headlight violation, a minor misdemeanor. But Isles was charged with drunk driving, a first-degree misdemeanor, and underage drinking, also a first-degree misdemeanor.

Isles' three passengers also were charged with underage drinking. Griffin M. Erlitz, 20, of Canton; Mitchell J. Macri, 19, of Massillon; and Trae J. Gaines, 19, of Massillon, were all charged with underage drinking. Gaines also was charged with possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.
Dog abandoned

Kent police found an abandoned male boxer mix tied to the city's kennel March 2. The dog, which was left between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., was tied to the city kennel at with a red cable.
The dog will likely be kept by the city until it is claimed, adopted or handed over to the Portage Animal Protective League.
Home vandalized
Someone caused about $500 in damage to an Admore Drive home March 3.
The homeowner found the outside layer of a vinyl, double-pane sliding glass door smashed. No suspects were identified. Anyone with information can call at 330-673-7732.
