3 New Businesses Coming To Lakewood: Round-Up
August and September will see a lot of new storefronts in the city. Which store are you most excited for?

LAKEWOOD, OH — August and September will see several new storefronts go up around Lakewood. With all the comings and goings, Patch has compiled a list of the businesses residents and visitors can expect to see in coming months.
In early August, Cleveland Curiosities opened its Lakewood storefront. The business carries all the items their name implies they would: taxidermy, antique dental and medical equipment, animal heads, items from tribes in Paupa, New Guinea and more. The store is at 13375 Madison Avenue and was profiled by Cleveland Scene when it opened.
Over on Detroit Avenue, Lakewood residents are eagerly anticipating the opening of Sauced Taproom & Kitchen. The restaurant plans to open in early September (which is soon!), and will boast 50 or more beer taps and late-night food. Sauced will be located at 14701 Detroit Avenue and was profiled by cleveland.com.

When Big Fun closed down its Coventry shop in June, it left Northeast Ohio without a vintage and rare toys store. Enter Apple Jax Toys, the lovechild of Allen Singleton and his lifelong career in retailing toys. The store won't open until September 29 (according to their Facebook), but it will be located at 13002 Madison Avenue and was profiled by cleveland.com.
Sadly, Jammy Buggars, the popular Detroit Avenue bar and restaurant, closed its doors in July. It's not yet clear what prompted the closing of the gastro pub. The Jammy turkey burger will be sorely missed by at least one reporter.
