$7 Million Renovation Unveiled At Rocky River Business April 19

From The Normandy:The Normandy is proud to unveil the latest renovations to its 30- acre campus at the newly named Breakwater Apartments, an independent living community near the shores of Lake Erie.
To celebrate, the campus will welcome the Mayor of Rocky River, Pamela E. Bobst, and other local
dignitary and friends to a Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, April 19 at 2 p.m. with refreshments to follow in Breakwater’s new, modern pub. This is an invitation-only event and is open to the media. In addition, The Normandy will hold an Open House on Sunday, May 20 from 1-4 p.m, at Breakwater that is open to the entire community. The day will include tours of the facility as well as refreshments and fun giveaways, such as an Apple HomePod speaker. Breakwater offers modern 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments with warm, spacious floor plans suitable to every lifestyle. In addition, it features a pub, game room, beauty salon, putting green and beautifully landscaped outdoor gardens with walking paths.
The Normandy, a Rocky River neighbor since 1967, has always had a strong commitment to the community. As a further extension of that commitment, Breakwater will open its newly renovated Avalon Hall to the public for use for meetings, lunches, brunches, social gatherings and more. The Breakwater renovations are part of a larger campus-wide project that includes the construction of Lakeside Assisted Living facility, scheduled to be completed this summer. These projects represent an investment of more than $25 million on the campus since 2013. Breakwater Apartments: This independent living community is part of The Normandy Senior Living Campus that includes The Normandy Care Center, a 150-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility and the soon-to-be-completed 80-unit Lakeside Assisted Living Center, scheduled to open this summer.
