of the Poor® Walk to Stomp Out Poverty in Northeast Ohio
The poor often have no one to turn
to in a moment of need. But for nearly
150 years, the poor and vulnerable in Northeast Ohio have found a friend in the
Society of St.Vincent de Paul (SVDP)
Cleveland. Join the Society and
compassionate Northeast Ohioans as they lace up their sneakers to raise money
for our region’s economically disadvantaged at the Second Annual Friends of the Poor® Walk on Saturday, September 28 from 9:30
to 11:30 a.m. at Richfield Woods
Park in Richfield, Oh. The paved
route is less than one mile, and is family-friendly to accommodate strollers,
wheelchairs and individuals of all ages.
All monies raised locally will be utilized to help Northeast Ohio
residents. Registration and
parking are free, and participants will receive a t-shirt, water bottle,
refreshments and various prizes. To
