WELCOME HOUSE HOSTS ART SHOW FEATURING ARTISTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Cleveland, Ohio – September 10, 2013 -- Welcome House, an area provider of residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities, is hosting an art show on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Welcome House Community Center, located at 27200 Lorain Road, North Olmsted.

The Creative Color Expressions Art Show was planned by the Welcome House client self-advocacy group People in Action. Talented community artists will show their work side-by-side with the artwork of individuals with developmental disabilities. This integrated show will display a broad spectrum of artistic talents.
“We are thrilled for our clients to have the opportunity to work with such talented artists,” says Executive Director Tony Thomas. “Our client-artists have produced some magnificent artwork that will ‘wow’ the community.”

Funds raised from the sale of artwork will benefit People in Action, a self-advocacy group for people with disabilities, to fund attendance at the annual self-advocacy conference in Washington, D.C.
