Affordable School Clothes, Supplies Sale In Lakewood
The H20 group is hosting a Clothing Drive and Super Sale on July 22 and Taft School.

LAKEWOOD, OH — On July 22, the H2O Clothing Drive and Super Sale will hit Lakewood. The city-wide event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Taft School, 13701 Lake Ave. The H2O project aims to provide affordable back-to-school clothing for families, including adults.
Between June 6 and July 16, residents were able to donate clothing and school supplies at any Lakewood Fire Station. Gently worn infant—adult clothing items will be recycled by H2O youth volunteers. Those items will then be made available for purchase at the July 22 event.
The money raised by Saturday's event will go toward the group's youth service program. (Subscribe to the Patch Lakewood newsletter for local news and updates.)

The H2O Summer Service Camp volunteers will also be working to gather glue bottles, recycle used notebooks, sharpen crayons and pencil, and do other odd jobs to prepare items for distribution to students, families, and teachers in the fall. All of that works is through the "Supplies for Success," a committee of the Lakewood Family Collaborative.
The H2O program is a service-learning program for middle and high school students. The group is a collaboration between Lakewood City Schools, the Lakewood Department of Human Services, and several community organizations.
