• Lakewood schools to vote -- again -- on repurposing of Lincoln Elementary School (cleveland.com) — Lakewood families should know the school board will hold a special meeting tomorrow to revote on turning Lincoln Elementary into an early childhood center, following a lawsuit settlement and renewed public scrutiny. The superintendent cites declining enrollment and extensive prior input, while Friends of Lakewood Schools and the mayor raise concerns about consolidation, safety, and transparency.
   

• Even more construction projects start after Labor Day: What to know (fox8.com) — Lakewood drivers face years of I-90 disruptions as a multi-year rehabilitation project continues through Rocky River, Lakewood, and Cleveland, bringing narrowed lanes and shifting traffic patterns. New ramp closures and detours on Cleveland's west side add to the congestion, with ODOT warning work will stretch into 2028 and beyond while urging motorists to leave earlier and stay alert.
