Bike Riders Allegedly Rob Lakewood Residents, Suspects Arrested
Police said three men on bicycles allegedly robbed two residents on Friday night.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Two Lakewood residents were robbed at gunpoint on Edgewater Drive on Friday night. Police said they have arrested three people in connection with the incident.
At about 9:30 p.m., a resident called and said that while in the 13000 block of Edgewater Drive three men on bicycles circled him and robbed him at gunpoint. As officers were investigating that incident, a second call came in, from a resident, saying she had just been robbed by three men on bicycles. That robbery happened on Ethel Avenue, near the railroad tracks.
Both victims were described the same way: three black men, in their teens or early 20s, on bicycles. They were covering their faces with masks, Lakewood Police said.
