Bond Set For Suspect In Murder Of Lakewood Handyman

An alleged murder-for-hire scheme may have led to the shooting death of a 46-year-old Lakewood man.

ELYRIA, OH — On Friday, Willie Fisher, a 46-year-old handyman from Lakewood, was found shot to death in Elyria. Now three men have been charged for an alleged murder-for-hire scheme that led to his death.

Police believe Bruce Arnoff, 56, hired two men, Patrick Gall and John Sullivan, to assault Fisher. Their alleged attack left the Lakewood man dead, Fox 8 reported.

Arnoff reportedly hired Fisher to do yard work around a Convenient Food Mart on Fuller Road in Elyria. Arnoff got upset with Fisher and then allegedly hired the men to harm him, cleveland.com said.

Fisher was shot multiple times, law enforcement said. His body was found Friday behind the Convenient Food Mart.

Patrick Gall, 18, was arrested after a standoff with police on Monday night in East Cleveland, Fox 8 reported. He is being charged with aggravated murder in the death of Fisher. His bond has been set at $2 million.

John Sullivan, 29, was arrested Friday night after his car was stopped for speeding. He is also been charged with aggravated murder in connection with Fisher's death.
