- Boom's Pizza is coming to Lakewood later this year. The restaurant will open in the former space of Campbell's Sweets Factory's Lakewood location, at 14730 Detroit Ave. Boom's Pizza will offer pizza that falls between New York and Neapolitan in style but is 14 inches across and larger than the typical Neapolitan pie, according to a news release. - According to a police event report, a loud music complaint led to an arrest on a weapons charge. On Jul. 6, officers responded at 10:36 p.m. to a complaint of loud music in a parking lot on Detroit near Clarence Avenue. An adult male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and driving under suspension, and his car was towed. (cleveland.com)
