George Washington is Up for Adoption

**Happy Memorial Day!  We're naming all of our May kitties after the president or founding father they most embody!**
George Washington (collar #110) is such a friendly kitty!  The moment you pet him he purrs like a motorboat.  We tried to get him to play with toys, but this guy was more interested in snuggling.  Check out his noble-looking long hair, he reminds us of a certain founding father's powdered wig. 

This kitty is available for adoption at the Lakewood Animal Shelter, located in the Cleveland Metroparks, on Cleveland Metroparks Drive (Valley Parkway) just south of the Dog Park. Adoption fees are always - only $35. The fee includes a deworming treatment, an initial vaccination, flea prevention treatment, a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, and an initial wellness exam with a second vaccination from participating local veterinarians.
