LHS steps up for ACS

The committee for the Lakewood Relay for Life would like to thank LHS for their involvement in this year's Relay which takes place on Saturday June 1st at Lakewood Stadium. Behind the efforts of Shelby Costo and Dr. Wagner, 4 teams have been formed which will help raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Kathy Urban is the team captain for the LHS Orchestra team, Sam Fedor is team captain for the Student Council team, Carrie Sullivan is team captain for the LHS staff and Shelby Costo is team captain for the Key Club team. In addition, Tess Jones started the H2O team which promises to be the largest team of the Relay. Last year they had 32 youth participants. Lastly, Christine Riggles started a Lakewood Middle School team in honor of Mrs. Katie Gerard and Mrs. Maryanne Kinzley. Thank you to all of you for your efforts.
