Little Bling Shoppe on Madison Closing

Its been a valuable learning experience.

On Feb 1,2013 The Little Bling Shoppe on Madison will close its doors. This is not a case of another Lakewood business gone bad- simply a decison on my part. This was actually my 2nd "in person" location. I have had a website for several years and was trying to see if being in a brick and mortar could be an extension of that. I fell in love with the little pink shoppe on Madison Ave and because the rent was resonable and the neighborhood was charming- I jumped on it. The area is great and I think it will be improving greatly in the near future especially with the enthusiasm of the merchants and the newly designated branding of Uptown Lakewood- however for me this is a financial decision. I have decided that it is more of a benefit to promote my online business from my home studio and travel to do shows and events in the area at this time. Having a store was a check on my bucket list-it was fun and I have learned some very valuable life lessons and some very valuable business lessons as well that I will take with me on my journey. Lakewood is a wonderful place and I hope it continues to flourish and support local business.

And now for my shameless plug: Continue to visit me online at www.reneesrhinestones.com- I will be offering my apparel to businesses as a consignee and or at discounted bulk rates in you are interested in carrying items in your stores. As always I do "custom" work for your businesses or organizations-so please keep me in mind. I will be having a store closing sale the last 2 weeks in January- so stop by! It was so nice to have met some awesome business owners and residents of Lakewood in this short time- Have a wonderful and prosperous 2013 full of "sparkle" and delight!

Yours Truly
