Movie Review: "The Beautiful Truth: The World's Simplest Cure for Cancer"

"The Beautiful Truth" is a documentary that presents us with a real eye-opener concerning the shortcomings of modern medicine and concepts of truth in healing, foods, and health care.

It's been said that more people live off of cancer than die from it.  The Beautiful Truth is a movie than can help put a stop to this travesty. Here is a very practical guide to the nutritional treatment of cancer and other life-threatening diseases that many would consider to have been impossible to obtain. But thanks to the work of Max Gerson, M.D., and his daughter, Charlotte Gerson, this knowledge is readily available.

The Beautiful Truth is an intensive documentary that follows 17 year old Garret Knoschel.  Growing up on a wildlife reserve in Alaska, Garret was familier with the dietary needs of the animals on the reserve.  During his home schooling, Garret read a book by Dr. Max Gerson, soon after the tragic death of his mother.  In the 1920's Dr. Gerson developed a natural cancer treatment that uses organic food, juicing, detox, and natural supplements to help the body heal itself.

This film takes us on a nationwide trip with Garret as he searches for the truth about the Gerson Therapy.  Garret's journey connects him with scientists, doctors, and cancer survivors as he tries to understand why the medical industry want to keep it all secret.  He also travels to various food production companies to uncover what kind of additives are being put into pur foods that contribute to ill health and cancer.
