Relay For Life 2013
American Cancer Society needs your help with planning the Lakewood Relay for Life. The Relay will be held at the Lakewood Stadium on Saturday June 1st thru Sunday June 2nd.
June 15th 2012 marked the return of the American Cancer Societies Relay For Life in Lakewood held at the high school stadium. It raised over $22,000 for the non-profit organization.
Approximately 500 people attended the event over its 18 hour duration including over 160 relayers, countless volunteers, 70 cancer survivors and their caregivers.
The youth program H20 had a large presence with over 34 participants and a couple of dozen volunteers who helped with decorations as a part of their summer camp. Relay for Life will be returning to Lakewood on Saturday June 1st through Sunday June 2nd.
