LAKEWOOD, OH — Someone fired a gun at a car as it drove through Lakewood on Tuesday, according to police reports. The shooting appears to have been random, the victim's wife said in a Facebook post.
The shooting happened Tuesday at about 4 p.m., police records said. A bullet had been shot through the passenger side of a windshield while the car was travelling down W. 117th Street, near Berea Road.
Police originally thought the crime had occurred in Cleveland, but the shooting happened on the Lakewood side of the border. The driver took his car to a nearby auto shop, where police were able to examine it.
