Hello again, everybody! It's Saturday in Lakewood and I'm back in your inbox with everything that's fit to print about what's happening in the community today. Here we go...
First, today's weather:
Mostly sunny and windy. High: 76 Low: 62.
📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Lakewood who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.
I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Lakewood Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.
Here are the top three stories in Lakewood today:
- Cleveland State University evacuated its campus out of an abundance of caution after receiving a bomb threat yesterday. The University tweeted that the threat was received in its Student Center, and police were notified at 2:35 p.m. The building was reportedly reopened and the threat cleared by 4:25 p.m. (Cleveland 19)
- Home prices were up across most of Cuyahoga County in the first half of 2022 with the median home price rising 8.2 percent. Single-family homes and condos were $227,500 in the first half of the year, up from 210,250 in 2021. (cleveland.com)
- Cleveland police are asking the public to take a look at photos of several suspects captured on video in two robbery incidents that happened last month at the Target in Steelyard Commons. In both robberies, the suspects grabbed the iPads and ran out of the store. The robbers may have left the store in a Nissan. (Cleveland 19 News)
