Car Crash Nearly Takes Out Angelo's Pizza
Witness: 'He had to have been going 45, at least.'
A car crash at the doorstep of a little after 12 a.m. Sunday has resulted in an arrest.
reported a man has been charged with drunken driving, and no one was injured.
Witnesses to the accident said a dark-gray Chevrolet truck was driving north on Wascana Avenue when it hit a parked car, knocking it into another parked car.

"He had to have been going 45 (mph) at least," said Nicole Muscatello, who was working at Angelo's when it happened.
Another Angelo's employee, Alisa Strang, said the man then sped through the stop sign at the intersection of Wascana and Madison avenues, and slammed into a silver Ford sport-utility vehicle headed east on Madison. The Ford flipped on its side, took out a parking meter and came within feet of Angelo's patio.

"I thought they were going to come right through the window," Strang said. "I'm still shaking."
Strang said only one table was inside Angelo's when the accident happened. No one was on the patio.
