Car Kulture to Roll Through City's West Side
Hot rods and classic and vintage cars will rumble down Madison Avenue for the ninth annual outdoor car show on Saturday.

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines.
To the delight of car lovers and local gearheads, a roaring slew of hot rods and vintage autos will soon be rumbling down Madison Avenue for the ninth-annual Car Kulture show.
This weekend, custom, classic and antique cars will roll from Warren to Hilliard roads with local businesses, live music acts, vendors and sponsors joining in along the ride, event manager Jerry Koenigsmark said.

In years past, the show took place farther east on Madison, but Koenigsmark was eager to change it up to accommodate and include more businesses, spectators and cars.
“The new location – farther west on Madison – has more space which will be great, seeing how the show has grown,” he said. “The businesses in the area have also been very supportive, with a few of them helping to sponsor the event. The day of the show is going to bring in hundreds of people to the area, which is always good for business.”

Only catch is, the cars have to be at least 39 years old to make the cut for the vintage car show. Motorcycles, choppers and scooters that were made in 1972 or before will also be included.
The “suped-up” rides will be on display from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday, August 20, and the all-day event is free and open to the public.
