Cigarette Delivery Truck Thief Wanted By Lakewood Police
A 53-year-old man allegedly stole a cigarette truck at gunpoint while he was in Lakewood. He has eluded police for six months.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Police are asking the public for help finding David Fields, 53, who allegedly stole a cigarette delivery truck at gunpoint. The robbery took place June 9, 2017 in Lakewood and Fields has managed to elude capture since then.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force made Fields its Fugitive of the Week to start 2018. Fields is currently wanted by both the U.S. Marshals and Lakewood Police.
Fields reportedly ordered the driver of a cigarette delivery truck to get into the back of Field's vehicle. Fields then took the man's truck keys and drove the truck to the area of E. 108th and Arthur in Cleveland. Several suspects then helped Fields unload the truck, stealing the cigarettes.

Fields is a black man, standing about 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 250 pounds. He is known to hang out in the area of Lynn Drive in Cleveland. He is considered armed and dangerous, police say.
