The City of Lakewood Reminds Residents and Business Owners to Clear Their Sidewalks

It's not only good manners to clear your sidewalks... In Lakewood, it's also the law.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood got hit with a significant amount of snow last week and while a lot of it has melted and city crews have cleared the streets, much of it remains on sidewalks. The snow that remains ofn the sidewalks has turned to ice and to compound the problem, the frozen footprints in the snow made them even more difficult to walk across. Some portions of Lakewood's sidewalks would be impossible for a stroller or wheelchair to pass through. See the photo below.
