Last year I expanded my ceramics studio in the Screw Factory to include a classroom. There was a lack of affordable classes in the area and open studio time where more seasoned students could work independently. I began with two classes for teens and adults and open studio times. In one year's time we have double the clay classes to four offerings per week plus a Saturday kids' class. This summer we have four week long options for kids' summer camps for ages 6-11. I have gone from the only instructor to hiring four new instructors to help with the classes.
We continue to expand and grow each session. Classes are limited to ten students. Some of our students have never touched clay in their lives while others are looking to get back into classes after a long break in practice. We welcome all levels of students.
