'Clear Your Sidewalks' Lakewood Tells 126 Residents
Lakewood officials put 126 notices on doors this weeks — reminding residents they must clear their sidewalks of snow.
LAKEWOOD, OH — In the days since Monday's winter storm, Lakewood officials issued more than 120 notices reminding residents to clear their sidewalks of snow.
Lakewood residents and business owners are responsible for clearing all snow from sidewalks around their properties. Many Lakewood students walk to school, making clearing snow from sidewalks essential, the city said.
On Wednesday, Lakewood officials said the Code Enforcement office placed 126 notices on residents' doors urging them to clear their sidewalks. Lakewood received nearly a foot of snow between Sunday night and Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to plummet Thursday night, creating icy conditions on roads and sidewalks. The dip in temperatures could also make clearing snow from unshoveled sidewalks more arduous.
