Coffee With A Lakewood Cop Returns Dec. 1

Get to know local officers over a cop o' joe at Play Grounds. Police will be at the shop from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The next installment of the "Coffee with a Cop" series will be held Dec. 1 at Play Grounds. The shop will host officers from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Play Grounds is located at 15715 Madison Ave.

The department hosted three Coffee with a Cop events in 2016, and has hosted far more in 2017. Officers will be ready and anxious to have a cup of coffee and a warm conversation with the people they protect and serve. There's no preset agenda, no planned speeches, just a chance for you to interact with your neighborhood police.

Notably, the coffee isn't free. Officers will provide some tokens to give away to the folks who stop by and chat them up.
