Constantino's Opening In Lakewood Dec. 7

The family-owned grocery is operated by residents of the city and Lakewood High School alums.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Constantino's Market, a family-owned grocery store, will open Dec. 7 in Lakewood. The business replaces Nature's Bin, which closed in November 2016.

“This store is an opportunity for us to serve our own neighborhood,” said Andrew Revy, co-owner and CEO, of Constantino's. “As residents of Lakewood, and graduates of Lakewood High School, my wife, Anna, and I are looking forward to serving our neighborhood through the offerings in the new store. We are excited to live and work with our fellow residents in the surrounding area of this new location while offering competitive prices, unique products and homemade, savory food selections.”

As Constantino's replaces Nature's Bin, Revy and his staff have committed to offer a selection of Nature's Bin's vegan and vegetarian items, and will continue to support Cornucopia, a vocational rehabilitation training facility for people with disabilities.

The Lakewood market will also play host to members of Cornucopia's staff as they host meetings and assess participants for job readiness.

“We are pleased to bring a market back to this neighborhood and into the Nature’s Bin space. We have always admired the work they have done through Cornucopia and will be donating a percentage of sales from opening weekend to them.” said Revy. “We will make it our tradition to commit one weekend annually to support Cornucopia through a percentage of sales. That is what Cleveland neighborhoods are all about, collaborating to help others."

From Dec. 7 to Dec. 10, Constantino's will hand out samples of prepared foods at its Lakewood store. Guests will also be able to win gift cards, prizes and reusable Constantino's bags. Emmy-nominated journalist Tiffani Tucker, from Channel 19, and Nicole Marcellino, the in-arena announcer for the Cleveland Cavaliers, will be "celebrity baggers" from 11 a.m. to noon on Dec. 10.
