LAKEWOOD, OH — A multi-phase construction project, led by Dominion Energy, will replace 31,564 feet of bare steel piping in Lakewood. Unfortunately, the project will also disrupt drivers in the city.
The $5.14 million project has already launched into phase one, which will replace 2,074 feet of bare steel piping that was originally installed in 1951. While the project should be finished by June 15, weather permitting, the construction will impact Archdale Avenue, West Clifton Boulevard and Riverside Drive.
The second part of the project started on Monday, the city said. Dominion is replacing 13,620 feet of bare steel line that was originally installed in 1922. This portion of the construction will impact Lakewood Heights Boulevard, Wascana and Wyandotte avenues and Lewis Drive.
