Here are the top three stories in Lakewood today:

  1. Gianni Gray Jr. is "Cuyahoga's Most Wanted" — with two active warrants and 27 charges, he is considered armed and extremely dangerous by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office. One of Gray's warrants stems from a drug investigation in Lakewood in which he fled from police on foot. The other warrant is for allegedly shooting a Cleveland Little Caesar's pizza shop employee, causing serious physical harm. Contact Crime Stoppers at 216-25-CRIME with any information on Gray's whereabouts. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. The City of Lakewood is asking for public input on the e-scooter and bike program, the pilot program was launched last summer and ended after four months. Some locals are excited about the scooters — one man said, "It was amazing, just how it takes you anywhere. It's practical, easy, and fast." Others expressed concern, like Patrick Farmer who said, people must be "courteous with them" and not throw "them in someone's yard or a driveway." He continued, "They were scattered all over the place for sure. There were some in front of people's houses and on their tree lawns." Click here to take the city's public survey. (Cleveland 19 News)
  3. "Meet the Author - Cleveland's Cultural Gardens: A Landscape of Diversity" is on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakewood Public Library. Author John J. Grabowski will discuss Cleveland's Cultural Gardens which have "honored and embodied the wider history of immigration and ethnicity in Greater Cleveland" for over 100 years.
