Dead Body Found On W. 117th Street In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, OH — A dead body was found on W. 117th Street on Monday, Lakewood Police confirmed. A cause of death has not yet been determined.

A Lakewood Police spokesperson said there were no obvious signs of injury or trauma on the body. Investigators are still looking into the circumstances around the death. The next of kin have not yet been notified, police said.

The body was found near the rear of a building in the 1300 block of W. 117th. The deceased is a man, police said.

Speculation has run rampant on social media about the discovery of the body. Police confirmed the body was found, but affirmed there were no signs of violence on the body.
