Diana Chittester to Play Front Porch Concert Series this Friday
Talented local musician takes the stage for Week 4 of LakewoodAlive's Front Porch Concert Series this Friday, July 19
Live music starts at 7 p.m. from the front porch of Lakewood Public Library
Fresh off receiving a number of accolades for her latest album, local musician Diana Chittester will bring her arsenal of acoustic guitars to LakewoodAlive’s 2019 Front Porch Concert Series this Friday, July 19, at 7 p.m. for a performance that’s sure to delight the crowd.
Sponsored by Bentley Wealth Management of Raymond James, the Front Porch Concert Series features free, live music on the front steps of Lakewood Public Library (15425 Detroit Avenue) in Downtown Lakewood from 7 to 9 p.m. for 10 consecutive Fridays. The series, which aims to foster Lakewood’s vibrancy while providing a family-friendly summer entertainment option, runs through August 30.

Week 4 is presented by Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) and features a performance by folk-rock singer-songwriter Diana Chittester and her four-piece band. Diana’s show is brought to life by blending her signature acoustic guitar, intelligent lyrics and storytelling that engages the audience.
Since getting her start at the Winchester Music Hall in Birdtown in 2008, Diana – a Pennsylvanian-turned-Lakwoodite – has recorded multiple albums and regularly performs at venues and festivals throughout the region. She performed as a special guest at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction celebration in 2018, and her latest album, Paradox, was voted Best Album of 2019 by Cleveland Scene Magazine.

Now in its ninth year, LakewoodAlive’s popular Front Porch Concert Series adds vibrancy and an enhanced sense of community to Lakewood’s urban core, drawing several thousand attendees annually.
