Can't wait for one of Lakewood's hottest new restaurants to open? Get a sneak peek of the head chef's stylings at an event in late June.

LAKEWOOD, OH — In Fall 2017, Eddie Tancredi's Distill Table will open in Lakewood. While the exact date of the restaurant's opening is still in flux, you can get a special preview of the chef's cooking style on June 30 at an event in Cleveland Heights.
The Cleveland Urban Winery, 2180 Lee Rd., is hosting a "Distill Table Launch" on June 30 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tancredi will create finger foods for guests. There will also be a cash bar and live band. Tickets for the event are $20.
Starting at 8 p.m. there will be a short presentation on the coming Distill Table restaurant. There will also be a raffle auction that will include reservations to the soft opening and a customized tasting menu, among other prizes. Donations will go towards the opening of the restaurant.

The local-centric philosophy of Tancredi will inspire his Distill Table menu. His goal is to eventually source everything possible from the Greater Cleveland area. His menu will be broken down into sections, including Tancredi's house-made meats, cheese and antipasta. There will also be sandwiches and oven-baked pizza that will be made with Tancredi's own sourdough.
"I will have five chef specialties," he told Patch early in May. "I want people to share items. I want people to try a bunch of different things as an experience and pair it with our mixology program and using Ohio craft beers."
