Bucktown Kickback in Concert

“The recipe for Bucktown Kickback sports heavy doses of bluegrass drive and fleet-fingered chops, plenty of tear jerking honky-tonk, a sprinkle of rock swagger and singer-songwriter flair.”
- HIGH COUNTRY PRESS.

"The country palette of the Grateful Dead, the roots-pop spark of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.”
- CITYBEAT, Cincinnati, OH.

Currently based out of Nashville, BUCKTOWN KICKBACK is quickly becoming known for their dynamic and energetic performances that often include tasteful improvisations from it’s extraordinarily talented roster of musicians.

It’s their energetic live shows that helps draw a wide array of comparisons to great live acts like The Grateful Dead, Yonder Mountain String Band, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Railroad Earth, Robert Earl Keen and Steve Earle.

Headlining concerts and opening up for the likes of Alabama, Junior Brown, Railroad Earth, Todd Snider and Stacey Earle, Bucktown Kickback electrifies listeners with their live performances and studio recordings, both showcasing intelligent songwriting and incredible musicianship.

Their 2005 debut album "Speakeasy" was embraced by Americana radio and hit high marks on the Americana charts including a #1 on the Roots Report Folk Airplay chart.  Songs from that album have also been licensed for nationally syndicated television soundtracks including PBS's Roadtrip Nation.
