Ian McLagan (of the Faces) in Concert

“You can’t fake the kind of soul Mac’s got. He’s lived every fun-loving, glorious and painful note of it, and to me, that’s what makes his music the thing of beauty and strength that it is. We are so lucky to have it in our midst.”
- Patty Griffin.

Ian McLagan is a genuine, dyed-in-the-wool rock’n’roller. He was a member of the Small Faces and the Faces. Known to his many mates, fans and admirers as 'Mac,' he has lent his talents to a truly blue ribbon line-up of performers that he has toured and recorded with: The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, Taj Mahal, John Hiatt, David Lindley, Paul Westerberg, Billy Bragg and Patty Griffin, to name some but hardly all of the notables that McLagan has worked with over his career.

He also co-wrote such Faces hits as Cindy Incidentally, You're So Rude and Three Button Hand Me Down. His Wurlitzer electric piano is heard on everything from Stay With Me by the Faces to the smash hit Miss You by The Rolling Stones, and Mac's trademark Hammond B-3 organ is featured on the Small Faces classic Itchycoo Park and Rod Stewart's Maggie May and You Wear It Well.

His 1979 debut solo album, Troublemaker, features two Rolling Stones (Keith Richards and Ron Wood) and a Beatle (Ringo Starr) among the players.  Ian's newest album, Never Say Never, "mixes mischief and heartbreak, dancing on the bar and crying in your beer, in perfect proportion" according to Bill Flanagan of CBS Sunday Morning.

Ian will be performing on keyboards and vocals for "An Intimate Evening with MAC" solo show at The Winchester.
