It took awhile, but we have a meeting set for the evening of May 28 specifically to welcome new members/volunteers to Kauffman Park Friends, so mark your calendar. If you can't make it, I'd be glad to meet you personally to fill you in. Involvement in Kauffman Park Friends can be as much or as little as you can put into it, but we need more people to show their support for improving the park as we will be going before the Planning Commission in early June to show them our Master Plan.
For now, we are saying 7 p.m. at The Root Cafe. But we are asking for RSVPs just to know if we will need to change the venue. So please mark your calendar and RSVP.
