All events are at or near the Women’s Club
Pavilion (WCP) in Lakewood Park 



 



 



11am-2pm    Local green businesses and
organizations will have informational tables for adults and children to learn
about inside the WCP..



 



11am-2pm    KLB will be giving away small 
1-2 yr old  seedling trees for free that have been pre-potted by
LHS Horticulture students outside the WCP.



 



11am-2pm     KLB will
be giving away potted “recycled” perennials for free (tulips, hyacinth,
lilies, hydrangea) outside the WCP.



 



1pm-    A single 6-7 foot tree will be planted in Lakewood Park on Earth Day at 1pm. We are
inviting the public to watch and learn how to plant a tree, mulch, and how to
care for a newly planted tree, including pruning demonstrations.



 



1:15pm       
 A brief tree tour in Lakewood
Park led by local
resident and certified arborist John Palmer



 



9-12pm       
 Clean-up city properties, to preregister see below.
