Jordan’s Family Foundation’s 2nd Annual Recess ROCKS! will take place on Sunday, September 25th from 1 – 5pm. The event turns Lakewood Park (near Cleveland, Ohio) into a large playground and feature dozens of energizing activities for kids and families to have fun and play while also learning a bit about healthy living.
The inaugural event last year was attended by more than 2000 guests with over 50 organizations (including the Cleveland CAVS, Cleveland Indians, American Heart Association, Cleveland Clinic and many others) participating in the fun. The event will give elementary and middle school aged kids an opportunity to commit to better health through games and activities while offering parents a host of new ideas for keeping the whole family healthy.
Ultimately, the goal of Recess ROCKS! is to create a fun environment for families to learn about healthy living and for kids to make a commitment to be healthy while having fun with other kids in the community.
