Fifth Third Bank in Lakewood Robbed, Police Seek Public's Assistance in ID'ing Suspects

Two men robbed the bank at 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 22. One of the men had a gun.

LAKEWOOD, OH - Two men robbed the Fifth Third Bank, 1616 W. 117st, Oct. 22. Police are now asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

At about 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 22, Lakewood Police received a call that the Fifth Third Bank had been robbed. It was determined that two suspects entered the bank, approached the tellers and demanded money. One of the suspects flashed a handgun. The suspects are described as two African-American males, approx. 17 to 20 years of age, 5’9”-5’10” and 150-175 lbs. One suspect was wearing a black hoodie and black pants with a white rim around ankle, while the other suspect was wearing a gray hoodie with gray sweat pants.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the area, eastbound on foot, with an undisclosed amount of money. Anyone with information is asked to call Lakewood Police at 216-521-1234. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
