Final Call for Nominations- Women Honoring Women Event

The Lakewood Women’s Club annual event, Women Honoring Women, is fast approaching on May 10th 2018. The main focus of this event is to honor women who work or live in the community and whom are making notable contributions to it. The application deadline was recently extended from January 26th to February 23rd in the hopes to receive a few more applications for the two categories; Emerging and Distinguished leaders.

Last years event at Georgetow/Vosh was a huge success and raised money for our then charity recipient, Trinity of Lakewood and a high school graduate who was selected from our scholarship program.
Among all of the fabulous attendees last year, Lakewood Representative, Nickie Antonio, was the events MC along with Author Laura Ponticello who was the inspirational guest speaker.
This years speaker will be revealed soon and will also be presenting a powerful and uplifting story that guests will surely enjoy. This year we are raising money for our charity recipien, Gigi’s Playhouse. Tickets will be available soon and will more than likely sell out so keep an eye on our social media accounts for the latest updates.
