  2. Add to your calendar the "Lakewood Summer Meltdown" on Jul. 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Detroit Avenue in downtown Lakewood. The biggest block party in the city draws nearly 15,000 participants and features a 5K race, a 1 Mile Family Fun Run and Walk, plus a street festival, outdoor activities, games, food vendors, and more. 3. This 1905 Arts and Crafts style Dutch Colonial home in Lakewood boasts exquisite craftsmanship throughout and is on the market for $799,000.
