Grant Elementary Will Reopen With New Principal

Lakewood City Schools continue to move forward with an aggressive schedule to rebuild Grant, Lincoln and Roosevelt elementary schools. Grant Elementary will also have a new principal in Kaitlyn Turner according to the Lakewood City Schools website.

Turner is no stranger to Lakewood, she was a kindergarten teacher at Hayes Elementary before taking a position as assistant principal at Chardon Hills Magnet School in Euclid. Turner oversaw the special education programs at Euclid and also introduced the Positive Behavior Intervention Support program to Chardon Hills.

Ms. Turner starts with Grant on August 1st, replacing Philis Muth who will be retiring at the end of the school year.
