The
next event in LakewoodAlive's Housing Education Series will be "Greening
Your Home" featuring a presentation by Mandy Metcalf of Environmental
Health Watch.
Learn ways to keep your home healthy and energy efficient, including basic principles and techniques for increasing the energy efficiency in your home, low-cost energy upgrades, and what approaches to consider for more significant energy improvements. We will also explore the seven principles of a healthy home and how they can be applied to reduce asthma triggers and maintain a healthy indoor environment.
The event will be held at the University of Akron Lakewood on Saturday, August 17 at 10:30 am, and is free and open to the public. Complimentary parking is available in the rear lot.
