Here's How To Bring A Trader Joe's To Lakewood
We asked what businesses you wanted to see come to town...the most popular answer was Trader Joe's.

LAKEWOOD, OH — When Patch asked Lakewood readers which businesses they wanted to see come to town this year, the most popular answer, by far, was Trader Joe's. The closest Trader Joe's location is in Westlake, with another on the east side, in Woodmere.
While some residents noted that Lakewood already has grocery stores — Giant Eagle, Constantino's, Lucky's Market — others felt the community could support another option. A few residents wanted the unique "feel" of Trader Joe's in the city.
You've made your voice clear to Patch, but how can you get Trader Joe's to listen? It's easy: they have a dedicated request form on their website to take location requests.

"There are no guarantees, but being wanted matters to us," the store says on it's form. Patch has reached out to Trader Joe's for more information on how they use this form when looking for new store locations.
Who knows? Maybe Lakewood will be next in line for the tropical grocery store.
