Holiday Online Auction Returns November 21st

Starting on November 21st, the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce will begin an online auction showcasing items donated by some of the area’s best locally owned businesses.

Now in its 8th year, the Holiday Bid & Buy Online Auction allows the Chamber to promote local businesses while encouraging bidders to shop local this holiday season. The auction is held in conjunction with Small Business Saturday where 'Neighborhood Champions' across the country, like the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, hold special events that promote small businesses and rally our communities for Small Business Saturday on November 26th.

Give a little and get a lot in return.
By donating to the Holiday Bid & Buy online auction, you can promote your business while making a difference in your community. The Holiday Bid & Buy Auction allows local shoppers – plus a community of over 400,000 cause-minded bidders on the “Bidding For Good” platform – to find great deals while supporting the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and our economic development efforts. Past auctions have attracted bidders from throughout Northeast Ohio and from coast to coast, from Seattle WA to Baltimore MD!

Businesses can get involved by donating an auction item, or sponsoring the auction, or both. When you donate to the Holiday Bid & Buy auction, your donated item will be featured with its own bidding page with your business’s logo and a direct link to your website, plus a terrific write-up of the item and a photo. Don’t have a ‘good’ or ‘service’ to offer? No problem! We're looking for a variety of items worth $25 or more, so donate an item purchased locally and both businesses will get online exposure!
