1 Killed In Rocky River House Fire
At least one other person has been taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the blaze, according to reports.

ROCKY RIVER, OH — An 87-year-old woman was killed during a house fire in Rocky River on Thursday, according to fire officials. One other person was taken to the hospital for injuries they sustained during the blaze.
The residential fire briefly shut down Lake Road on Thursday morning. Rocky River police said the road was closed in both directions near the 22800 block of Lake Road. Police then asked drivers to avoid the area.
Freezing cold conditions created problems for fire crews. Lakewood Fire Chief Scott Gilman told reporters there had been a problem with frozen hydrants, which required tankers from Cleveland Hopkins airport and Columbia Township to come to the scene.
