Huntington Bank Opens Another Lakewood Location

After several months of significant construction and remodeling, Huntington Bank has another Lakewood location and Giant Eagle has a little more to offer shoppers.

opened its third listed Lakewood location last week at 14100 Detroit Avenue, just inside the front entrance of . The location is open every day and has already helped to fill a need, according to a number of Giant Eagle shoppers and store leader David Eckenroad.

“This is still a walking city, and to have a bank is a big advantage for us,” Eckenroad said. “And it brightens up the store. That’s the thing for us.”

The location will be open every day, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. Five employees work at the location, which is currently offering $100 to customers who open new checking accounts and $200 to customers who open new business accounts and deposit $500, store banking specialist Brian Kucherak said.

“This is a busy store,” Kucherak said. “We’re excited to be out here.”

The location will celebrate a second grand opening celebration this weekend, Eckenroad and Kucherak said.
