"I thought this was just a scrimmage ?"

Usually scrimmages are opportunities for practicing plays and strategies and getting guys who normally aren't in the starting 5 to get some play/run. But this scrimmage between the varsity squads of both teams (St. Edward HS and Cleveland Hts. HS ) was the most competitive scrimmage I've seen. Cleveland Hts. had a new player who was 6' 8" and already committed to Louisville and watching him play, one would know why.

Both teams did rotate players but never whole squads and the athletic level and competition was always at a high level. The bottom line was that St. Ed's squeaked out a 1 pt. victory with a few seconds left in the game.
