I visited the Cleveland Greenhouse and a Hullabaloo 2017 Preview fashion show broke out.

Defined as an uproarious occasion, Hullabaloo is a fashion show fundraising event of fantastically colorful proportions. The "Yellowcake Shop" is a local contemporary clothing company run by Project Runway alumna, Valerie Mayen. It specializes in Cleveland-made, high quality clothing for women with local roots and quality aesthetics.

This "Of A Kind" 6th annual Hullabaloo collection by Valerie Mayen was expressly created to honor the differences in our humanity. By illustrating the commonalities in the diversity of each garment, through silhouette, textile and color, one can begin to appreciate the beauty of their cohesion despite their differences. The fundraising was primarily focused on the L'Arche Cleveland, an organization with a mission to celebrate the value of people with developmental disabilities.

As a former NYFW photographer, I was impressed by the organization and quality peripheral booths selling fashion/boutique items were well attended. The large outdoor, white tent-like structure adjacent to the Cleveland Greenhouse proved to be a great venue with 2 main runways for the models to display their garments.
