Intoxicated Man Fired Gun In Lakewood, Police Say

Police Chief Tim Malley said a 27-year-old was taken into custody for shooting a handgun on Hilliard Boulevard.

LAKEWOOD, OH — A man fired a gun on Hilliard Boulevard, according to Lakewood Police Chief Tim Malley. No one was hurt during the incident.

On November 10, at 8:40 p.m., callers reported a gunshot on Hilliard Boulevard. When police arrived, they found a 27-year-old man with a handgun. Officers detained him after an investigation.

Malley said the man is being charged with discharging a firearm, using weapons while intoxicated and disorderly conduct.
