Have you registered yet for Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: A Community March to Stop Violence Against Women? This Friday, October 18th, men and women from all over the area will be gathering at the Quicken Loans Arena to walk a mile in heels to raise awareness about violence against women. It is time that we rally as a community and acknowledge that violence is not just a women's issue. Violence effects entire families and communities, including men. Men have the power to speak up, speak out and ultimately stop gender-based violence.
