Ivanka Trump Comes To Rocky River On Friday
She'll be joined by Senator Rob Portman, Rep. Jim Renacci and Rocky River Mayor Pamela Bobst.

ROCKY RIVER, OH — Ivanka Trump will be part of a town hall meeting in Rocky River on Friday. She'll be flanked by Senator Rob Portman and Representative Jim Renacci, as well as Rocky River Mayor Pamela Bobst.
Trump is expected to tout the benefits of her father's tax plan, while providing extra publicity to Renacci, Senator Sherrod Brown's likely opponent in the general elections. Her town hall meeting will be held at Rocky River Senior Center, 21014 Hilliard Blvd.
Approximately 300 community members will be in attendance at the event, according to Fox 8. Small business owners will also be invited to attend.

Bobst has been friendly with the current administration, meeting with President Donald Trump in late January during a conference of mayors at the White House. The meeting of mayors and the president became controversial when several high-profile mayors of large cities, like New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, turned down the meeting because of the Justice Department announcing it would again target sanctuary cities.
Bobst, a Republican, has been the mayor of Rocky River since 2006. She ran unopposed in 2017. She was one of only two Ohio mayors at the meeting, the other being Highland Heights' Scott Coleman, according to the White House Press Office.
