Nationally recognized commercial photography and video studio Kalman & Pabst Photo Group (KP Photo) will transform its 18,000 square foot studio into a dazzling art gallery, showcasing more than 400 pieces of their employees’ personal work. The not-to-be-missed biennial event features an opening reception with live music, libations, and hors d’oeuvres.

The Fine Art Show traces back 10 years to studio co-founders, Jan Kalman and Bob Pabst, and their desire to shine the spotlight on the talent here in Northeast Ohio.

“It was their gift to honor and affirm our staff who, beyond serving our client needs, are accomplished artists in their free time,” said current studio co-owner Craig Brown.

The KP Photo Fine Art Show will also put philanthropy center stage as The Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland was selected as the designated non-profit charity for 2016’s show and will receive 20% of each piece sold as well as 100% of sales from raffled artwork donated by each studio artist. Brown noted: “With more than 150,000 Clevelanders living in poverty we know The Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland’s mission of battling hunger in our community is an extremely difficult task. Given these sobering statistics, and our studio’s extensive work in food photography, our entire staff takes great pride in assisting them through the donation of sales from the show.”

Admission to the Fine Art Show’s opening reception is free but due to increased attendance, RSVP’s are strongly encouraged. For more information and to RSVP visit art.kpphoto.com. Additional gallery hours will also run the following Saturday, May 14th from 1:00pm – 6:00pm giving audiences one last chance to see the work.
